Disability Information
The River Princess is currently the only boat on the River Avon between Bristol Harbour and Bath that has disabled access.
The vessel is fitted with an electric hydraulic lift to enable people with walking disabilities, as well as those in wheelchairs to gain access into the boat.
The width of the opening is 24”.
We can take up to 4 wheelchairs with no advance notice, more than that we require sufficient time to take out two tables which enable us to carry an additional 8 wheelchairs.
We have disabled access onto the vessel at Hanham, as well as various pick up points within Bristol harbour.
